The International Aviance Alliance

The International Aviance Alliance
A global alliance of independent aviation ground handlers bringing together worldwide knowledge at a local level.  The alliance was founded in 1999 and has gradually and purposefully grown from the original six founder members to ten worldwide companies.  The Alliance fosters collaboration to maintain local strength, independence and knowledge whilst offering the pooled resources of a larger international and multi cultural business.

Membership to the Alliance is granted only after benchmarking and audits have been approved.  The Alliance stands for consistent service delivery and safety from all of its members to nurture brand confidence.  The airlines recognize the Alliance as being a flagship for quality and professionalism.
The Alliance strives to improve and perfect the “Aviance Difference” by working with the airlines at an international level and identifying innovative services that afford the airlines a “value added” service.
The Alliance requires its members to identify the “aviance Difference” in terms of approach, service level agreements, continuous improvement plans, ISO, communications and problem solving plans.

To achieve these alliance goals, members must constantly exchange information in terms of marketing and sales, cost reduction, procurement, service delivery process and engineering.

Through the Alliance members are encouraged to identify best practice through an employee exchange programme.  This programme enhances employee knowledge whilst acting as a reward and incentive for staff.  The exchange broadens the employees experience and helps to prepare for promotion.

The Alliance has gained experience of the African market through the operations of aviance Ghana and has built an international reputation for providing a consistent quality driven service accepted as the “best of Africa” at Kotoka International Airport.  aviance Ghana is the Alliance representative for Africa and is keen to expand the alliance coverage into more African countries.

Servicing the airline community for eleven years, aviance Ghana has maximized local management potential and minimized its reliance on outside executives.  This is a corporate goal set by the Board of Directors and today Cargo, Ramp Services, Human Resource, Health, Safety and Quality, Operations and Accounts are all managed by Ghanaians.
