Chris K. Wilmot is the Chairman and shareholder of Aviance Ghana.Chris K. Wilmot is President and Chief Executive Officer of WCW International Holding Company and Chairman of Aviance Ghana. He has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry and international business development. As Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for corporate planning, financial acquisition, and new business development. Chris assists United States Fortune 500 companies and Global companies with negotiations regarding business opportunities in various African countries. Prior to establishing WCW International, Inc., Chris began his career in Houston, Texas as an engineer, production supervisor and held senior level management positions at Atlantic Richfield (ARCO), a major oil and gas company. His responsibilities included down hole and upstream operations, managing project budgets of up to $550 million dollars. Chris supervised major construction & program management, facilities and maintenance operations for ARCO's South Texas Seven Sisters project, Barbara's Hill engineering and construction management, Dickinson construction management, as well as handled ARCO's South Texas District United States Federal environmental regulations. Chris is currently involved as a strategic alliance partner with several major United States consulting, engineering, energy, management and security operation firms. Chris serves on numerous commissions and boards. He was a delegate to the United States Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Trade and Investment Missions to Ghana, Cote D'Ivoire, The Gambia and Senegal. Member of the Supervisory Board of the World Trade Division Greater Houston Partnership, member of the Board of Directors of Congressman Mickey Leland Kibbutzim Foundation, and a Commissioner of the Houston Clean City Commission. Chris was the Chairman of the Mayor's International Affairs Development Council - Africa 2007-2008. He also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Houston Partnership and former Chairman of the Board Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau 2004-2005. Chris serves as Chairman of the Greater Houston Partnership World Bank Task Force. Mr. Wilmot graduated as an Electrical Engineer from Tuskegee University, Alabama. A member of SPE, ASME, IEEE. Chris resides in Houston, Texas and is married with three daughters and a son.
