AVIANCE GHANA HANDLES LARGEST NUMBER OF VACCINES IN GHANA AT K.I.A.

As part of efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Aviance Ghana Limited on Saturday 4th September 2021, assisted the Government of Ghana to receive over 1.2 million vaccines donated by the United States government as part of the COVAX facility.

This volume of vaccines by far is the largest shipment of vaccines received in the country yet.

In attendance to receive the vaccines at the Kotoka International Airport were some representatives of the government, the United States Embassy, UNICEF Ghana among others.

Aviance Ghana Limited is recalled to have been the first to assist the Government of Ghana in handling the first shipment of vaccines to have arrived into the country through the same COVAX facility.
