Aviance Ghana Limited on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 handled the world’s largest plane the Antonov An-225 Mriya at the Kotoka International Airport.
Antonov An 225 Mriya is the longest-bodied, longest-winged and heaviest operational plane in the world. Its cargo compartment is 43 m by 6.4 m by 4.4 m - big enough to hold 50 cars and there is only one operational Antonov An-225 in the world.
The plane was dispatched to Ghana from Germany through Namibia, carrying the first of three medical aid shipments.
During its arrival at the Kotoka International Airport, the Aviance Ghana Limited team handled its content on the ground.
